Pastoral care is the provision a school makes to ensure the physical and emotional welfare of pupils. It is the essential foundation upon which learning can take place

The first and most important point of contact for your child is your child’s class teacher and in Reception, the class Learning Support Assistant (LSA). If you have any concerns or questions, please get in touch with them in the first instance. Class Dojo has a private message option so that you can let your child’s teacher know about something that has happened.

If you need to pass on an urgent message or let us know that your child will be in late, attending a medical appointment or that they are ill, please call the school office to let us know. The school office is also on dojo so you have a couple of options for making contact.

Alternatively if you need additional support, please contact the school partnership team who can help you with guidance, strategies or a listening ear. More information can be found on our interventions page but contact can be made through support@capelles.sch.gg
